What is Build Together?

Every year, City Church California holds a special "Build Together" offering where we all give a one-time sacrificial financial gift over and above our tithes. We will do this to propel our church into all we believe God wants to do in California.

These offerings have never been about equal giving but equal sacrifice. We believe that when we collectively give sacrificially, God responds extravagantly.

Each year, Build Together funds are prayerfully allocated to advance the vision and mission of our church. This year, our primary focus is the expansion and reconstruction of our campus, while continuing our commitment to missions and outreach.
- Campus Expansion & Improvements - The vast majority of this year's Build Together Offering will go directly toward expanding and reconstructing our church facilities, creating more room for people to encounter God, grow in their faith, and experience life change.
- Missions & Outreach - A portion of the offering will also be designated to support local and global missions, outreach initiatives, and advancing the Gospel beyond the walls of our church.
Our next Build Together initiative is the expansion and reconstruction of our auditorium:
- Seating capacity increase from 375 to 700+, and to 800 with a connected overflow area
- Additional offices and workspaces for our staff and team leaders
- Classrooms to disciple and equip our church through spiritual formation

Yes. Tithing is a regular, biblical rhythm of giving the first 10% of our income to the local church. Build Together is an additional, one-time sacrificial gift we prepare for in prayer and unity.
There are several ways you can give to the Build Together Offering:
- Online Giving: Give securely through our website using ACH (bank transfer), debit card, or credit card. Simply select "Build Together" as your giving designation.
- In-Person Giving: Give during our Build Together Sunday offering using cash, check, or a completed giving envelope.
- Creative Giving: Give through nontraditional methods such as stocks, cryptocurrency, or a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).
- 2027 Pledge: Make a financial commitment to give throughout 2027 by completing our online pledge form. You can choose your total commitment, giving frequency, and start date.
Whether you're giving a one-time gift or making a pledge for 2027, every contribution helps us move forward in faith as we Build Together.
