This is not meant to discourage participation, but to provide clarity, coaching, and confidence for every person desiring to serve.

“Not yet” does not mean “never.” It simply means there are areas still being developed so that we can serve with confidence, unity, humility, and excellence.

Our goal is not perfection — our goal is healthy, prepared, dependable team members who serve the Presence of God and the people in the room well.

These benchmarks are assessed by the Ministry / Worship Lead during auditions. Auditions are not a hurdle — they are a coaching moment. Their purpose is to help us understand where you are, name what’s already strong, and identify the few things that, if developed, would unlock the next step.

The responsibility for growth and development sits with the individual. If you want to step toward serving, you carry the ownership of pursuing the benchmarks. That said, our Track Leads are here as an encouragement, a resource, and a sounding board along the way. Ask questions. Reach out. Don’t wait to be discovered.
